Minutes of Stow Parish Council Zoom Meeting 27 May 2020 3pm

Clare Ella briefly joined the meeting and the Council thanked her for her work and help with the Recreation fund.

29. Minutes of previous meeting of Monday 16 March 2020
It was proposed by Cllr Martinson and seconded by Cllr Justham to accept the minutes of Parish Council Meeting. It was Resolved to accept the minutes as a true copy of the meeting. All in favour
30. Matters arising from Minutes of Monday 16 March 2020
Correction to 23 Should read 3rd Edition due May 2020
31. To agree final accounts for 2019/2020
The final accounts prepared by the Internal Auditor were proposed by Cllr Read and Seconded by Cllr Martinson it was Resolved all in favour to accept the accounts.
32. To agree and sign the Certificate of Exemption
Proposed by Cllr Turner and seconded by Cllr Duncan and Resolved to accept the certificate
33. To accept and sign the Audit Annual Governance Statement for 2019/2020
Proposed by Cllr Turner and seconded by Cllr Martinson and Resolved.
34. To accept and sign the Audit Accounting Statements for 2019/2020
Proposed by Cllr Duncan and seconded by Cllr Read and Resolved.
Council thanked Elizabeth Harrison for her work on the accounts and agreed to purchase her a gift voucher.
35. To discuss and agree the steps forward with regards to progress with the tree assessment for the village trees.
Clerk to find out a date when the assessment will be carried out.
Two more quotes to be obtained for the work required on the Poplar in the playpark.
Land registry to be investigated as to the ownership of the tree.
Zoom meeting to be called by Clerk when quotations have been received to discuss the way forward.
